Chennai Arrival

Morning arrive at Chennai Airport / Railway station greet and meet our representative & transfer to hotel. Check in hotel. Later visit Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Colourful Dravidian-style temple dedicated to Shiva, established in the 7th century & later rebuilt, Vivekananda Illam , Former ice store where Swami Vivekananda stayed in 1897, now a permanent exhibition on his life then the Government museum, Fort museum, drive past Marina Beach, San Thome Church and later return to hotel and Overnight at Hotel

Chennai - Mahabalipuram

Morning check out from hotel & transfer to Mahabalipuram, after 1hrs journey arrive at Mahabalipuram. Check in hotel. Later visit sightseeing of Mahabalipuram, Five Rathas, Mahishasuramardini Mandapa, is an example of Indian rock-cut architecture dating from the late 7th century, of the Pal lava dynasty. It is a rock-cut cave temple located on a hill, near a lighthouse, along with other caves in Mamallapuram, Mahabalipuram lighthouse, Penance, Krishna Mandapam, Shore temple, Beach and later return to the Hotel and overnight at Hotel.

Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry

Morning check out from hotel & transfer to Pondicherry, after 2hrs journey arrive at Pondicherry. transfer to hotel. check in hotel. Later visit local sightseeing of Pondicherry, Matrimandir The Matrimandir is an edifice of spiritual significance for practitioners of Integral yoga, situated at the centre of Auroville initiated by The Mother of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville: The City of Dawn, Arikamedu – Former Chola Port city, Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Pondicherry, Promenade Beach, Shri Aurobindo ashram and later drive back to Hotel and Overnight at Hotel.

Pondicherry - Tanjore

Morning check out from hotel & proceed to Tanjore, en-route visit Chidambaram visiting the Nataraja Temple 1,000-year-old sacred site devoted to Shiva with 4 separate 7-storey towers around a central temple, Proceed to gangaikondacholapuram is a town whose origin trace to medieval India and which was the capital of the Cholas for king Rajendra Chola, and the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva Later to Darasuram visit the Airavateswara temple constructed by the Rajaraja Chola II in the 12th century AD. The temple is a recognised UNESCO World Heritage monument, arrival at Tanjore check in hotel and Overnight at Hotel.

Tanjore - Madurai

Morning check out from hotel & visit local sightseeing of Tanjore, Brihadisvara Temple, Brihadeeswarar temple, which is dedicated to Shiva, was built by Raja Chola I. The construction was completed in 1010 which it means that the temple is more than 1000 years old and it is one of the best example of the Chola architecture, The Thanjavur Maratha Palace Complex, known locally as Aranmanai, is the official residence of the Bhonsle family which ruled over the Tanjore region from 1674 to 1855, Its bronzes and handicrafts make Thanjavur one of the highlights of a visit of the South.

Madurai Departure

Morning check out from hotel & visit Madhuri sightseeing, the great Meenakshi Temple dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva with its towering gopurams, rising high above the surrounding country side. Later, visit the Tirumala Nayak Palace - a gracious building in the Indo-Saracenic style, famous for the stucco work on its domes and arches and drop to Madurai airport / railway station..
